Furthermore, the use of the casings after two years does not represents any health risk or a deterioration of the organoleptic or nutritional properties provided they have been properly packed and kept in good warehousing conditions. And this is what makes a significant difference with the concept of shelf•life applied to food products. In the case of food products after the expiration date you can expect a loss of nutritional or organoleptic properties of the goods or a deterioration of them that could represent a health risk.
